Bengalis and Hyderabad Collective is a community built by and for Bengalis living in Hyderabad. What started as a simple idea—to help Bengalis feel at home in a new city—has grown into a warm, close-knit collective where culture, food, conversations, and friendships come together naturally.
We exist to keep the Bengali spirit alive while embracing Hyderabad as home. From food walks and adda-style meetups to festival celebrations, music sessions, heritage trails, and short trips, our gatherings are designed to feel real, relaxed, and meaningful. No forced networking, no pressure—just people coming together over shared roots and shared experiences.
The collective is also a space for newcomers to find their footing in the city. Whether it’s discovering Bengali-friendly food spots, understanding local culture, or simply finding familiar faces to talk to, we believe community support makes a big city feel smaller and kinder.
At our core, we value inclusivity, authenticity, and respect—for people, traditions, and the city we live in. We honour Bangla culture while allowing it to evolve with time, creating a bridge between tradition and modern urban life.
Bengalis & Hyderabad Collective is not about numbers or noise. It’s about belonging. It’s about creating a home away from home—where food tastes familiar, conversations flow freely, festivals feel warmer, and Hyderabad truly feels like our city too.
